I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in midwifery, have been working as a registered midwife and a lactation consultant in Vancouver.
As a midwife who has been working in childbirth and beyond over twenty years have a passion for supporting mother & baby dyads breastfeeding. It hasn’t been uncommon for me to spend over an hour at postpartum visits to make sure breastfeeding is going well.
Apart from seeing my midwifery clients, I have seen many postpartum clients with breastfeeding issues who have been referred to me by obstetricians or other medical care providers. That’s why I studied to become a lactation consultant to get specialized in breastfeeding and lactation. Currently I am an International Certified Board Lactation Consultant, IBCLC.
I have privileges at BC Women’s and St Paul’s hospital.
